How it all began …
1999 – 2007
The foundation is laid with the establishment of Voigt Consulting AG – today’s XEPTUM Consulting AG – in October 1999. The operative business starts as early as January 1, 2000. The rapid growth makes a move within Murr to Ferdinand-Porsche-Straße necessary in 2001.
A new chapter begins in 2006 with a strategic realignment and the renaming to XEPTUM Consulting AG. The move to Neckarsulm marks this step. Just one year later, XEPTUM starts consulting activities in the SAP Solution Manager environment and takes on an active role within the DSAG.
2011 – 2015
With the development of the agency business area and the conception of IT business management as a strategic approach, XEPTUM continuously strengthens its service portfolio. The establishment of XEPTUM Business Consulting GmbH follows in 2013. In 2015, additional management levels are established with the new division management for “Finance and Agency Business” and “Logistics” in order to sustainably secure growth.

2016 – 2020
In 2016, XEPTUM expands its portfolio to include the “Service & Support” area, moves into significantly larger office space in Neckarsulm, and strengthens the organization through the new “Technology” division management. The XEPTUM Digitalization Compass is developed and established in 2017.
In the following years, the company continues to expand its structure: in 2019, the “Head of Sourcing Management” organizational unit is created, and in 2020, XEPTUM Business GmbH is renamed XEPTUM Analytics GmbH, which further expands the portfolio.

2021 – 2025
With the establishment of the “Application Management Support” department, XEPTUM further expands its service expertise in 2021. In 2022, the company moves into the modern company building at Heinz-Nixdorf-Straße 6 in Neckarsulm.

DSAG e. V.
The German-Speaking SAP User Group (DSAG) e. V. is the independent advocacy group for all SAP users in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Since its foundation in 1997, it has grown to become the world’s largest user group in the SAP environment with over 3,000 member companies.
With our membership in the DSAG, we actively contribute to the further development of SAP products and help shape current and future innovations. Thanks to our high level of consulting expertise, XEPTUM employees are represented in various working groups – some of which are initiated or managed by us.
IPAI
As a partner of the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) in Heilbronn, we are helping to shape the future of artificial intelligence in Europe. IPAI connects companies, research, and society to promote AI in a practical and responsible manner.
Our customers benefit from direct access to innovations and a strong network – this means that the latest developments are incorporated into projects at an early stage, creating future-proof solutions.
RWTH Aachen
As a partner of the Center Integrated Business Applications (CIBA) at RWTH Aachen University, we focus on practical research and innovation in the field of integrated IT system landscapes.
CIBA connects industry, research, and software providers, creates a unique test environment with its innovation labs and the Aachen demonstration factory, and provides neutral support to companies in the introduction and optimization of business software.
Together, we use this network to develop pioneering solutions and sustainably increase the added value of IT systems.
Sport-Union Neckarsulm e. V.
Sport not only stands for exercise, but also for values such as respect, discipline, and community. As an exclusive partner of Sport-Union Neckarsulm, we support this important social mission and promote in particular the women’s handball team. Since their promotion to the 1st Bundesliga, we have been a proud jersey sponsor and support the team with our commitment to secure success and achieve goals such as staying in the league.
