SAP Bank Communication Management
In financial accounting a lot of SAP users struggle various problems with third party applications for bank communication, for example SFirm, DREBA or dbdirekt. SAP offers with the SAP Bank Communication Management (BCM) a functionality, which is fully integrated in ERP 6.0 and addresses these well-known problems. Mr. Horst Ziegler, a member of the supervisory board of XEPTUM Consulting AG, has resigned on March 25th, 2010. As his successor we found Mr. Dr. Dietmar Saddei, Senior Vice President of the SAP AG. Social involvement
As well as its entrepreneurial and financial goals, every company also has a responsibility towards society. XEPTUM Consulting AG is aware of this social responsibility and will fulfil this as far as it is able. We`ve already been able to provide our support at smaller charity events such as the Neckarsulm Christmas Market or the “Sternstunden 2009”. Our own independent projects for 2010 are already at the planning stage. We will be delighted to provide you with information about these shortly.

Split valuation - XEPTUM can provide help in implementation
The standard function “split valuation” makes it possible for one and the same material to be considered from two different perspectives in terms of valuation. This means that a material which has different stock values depending on the valuation area and materials number can be recorded and analyzed cumulatively. XEPTUM can support you here.

SEPA debit advise - efficient implementation with XEPTUM
Since January 28, 2008 SEPA (Single Euro of Payments Area) money transfers are possible. With this a European-wide standardised payment method is taken as a basis for reducing the transaction costs considerably. XEPTUM offers support in both areas of the SEPA payments. 10 years XEPTUM Consulting AG and official introduction of the new executive officer Hans Tscherwitschke
Our 3 rd annual Communication Party took place. Highlights included the 10th anniversary and the official introduction of the new executive officer. On this occassion Hans Tscherwitschke was officially introduced. He has been leading the division Business Process Management in the company since 2005. Together with the chief executive officer Peter Eisele he forms the executive committee.

Project „Business Location Metropolitan Region Stuttgart
„We add value in terms of IT“
In co-operation with the European metropolitan region Stuttgart and the federal state government of Baden-Wuerttemberg the project was realized „business location metropolitan region Stuttgart“ and presented together with considerable personalities from politics, economy and science. XEPTUM engages itself for the project. The conception of the book and imagefilm took place on 14 September 2009 in Stuttgart.

In his new article Mr. Tscherwitschke, Division Manager Business Process Management why it also makes sense for medium-size enterprises to deal with the subject Process Management. MAAG Gear AG: Process optimization and integration of a Polish subsidiary company
The process optimization of the existing SAP system in Switzerland and the Rollout into the Polish subsidiary company are substantial components of the integration of the two locations and companies of the heavy gear-unit manufacturer under the slogan "one company - one process - one system".
At the project are 45 employees from all departments as well as 10 SAP consultant involved. XEPTUM leads the project management on behalf the MAAG Gear AG.

Salt supplier plays it safe with independent test system and SAP Solution Manager. Two projects in one: SÜDSALZ, Germany`s largest salt supplier, upgraded to SAP ERP 6.0 and at the same time converted to the worldwide character standard Unicode. A bold venture.

1&1 Internet AG/T-Systems: SAP invoicing by e-mail with signed PDFs
For a subsidiary of 1&1 Internet AG, the sending of invoices and credit notes from SAP-SD – depending on individual customer settings – is to take place by postal mail or by e-mail. In general, all invoices/credit notes should be made available in a portal (non-SAP) for download by customers in PDF form. Part of the documents must be digitally signed.

SÜDSALZ GmbH: SAP upgrade from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 with simultaneous conversion to Unicode
The goal of the project was to bring the SAP system to the latest technical state of the art. This is the prerequisite for being able to introduce new functionality and SOA-based applications as needed over the next few years. In particular due to the large number of subsystems and interfaces necessary, it was essential to create a platform capable of supporting future technical unification.

Under the slogan „enchant yourselves “took place itself the “Communication party “ of XEPTUM Consulting AG on 10 October 2008 in „Altes Theater “in HN-Sontheim. Over 120 business partners had followed the invitation.
Managing directors Matthias Bulling, its cook crew and the entire team spoiled the guests with European deliciousnesses in a wonderful ambience. High point of the evening was the show of „Nicolai Friedrich “, vice-world champions in mental magic.

XEPTUM developing mobile service application in the SAP Mobile Infrastructure
In collaboration with Dr. Thomas Ritz of the Aachen University of Applied Sciences, a mobile service application in the SAP Mobile Infrastructure was designed and developed in the context of a diploma thesis. This application provides a service employee in an external sales force with all the information and functionality needed to process an order on his or her mobile terminal, such as a PDA or a notebook, whether online or offline.
